After
Polytechnic, BUMS, Diploma in Pharmacy and Degree in Pharmacy, JAMIA
is expanding in education with the Engineering College in Akkalkuwa,
in a state of Ready to take new admissions by the new academic year.
Recently
JAMIA took pride to arrange 35th Science Exhibition of Maharashtra
in it's campus. The Exhibition held from 28th Jan 2010 to
1st Feb 2010 and inaugurated by Hon'ble Cabinet Minister,
Mr. Manik Rao Gawit.
Last
month JAMIA arranged the Training for Teachers on Techniques of Effective
Teaching. Scholars and Intellectuals from Moulana Azad National Urdu
University, Hyderabad were invited for the training sessions.
The Jamia
Islamia Ishaatul Uloom, Akkalkuwa was set up in 1979 in the lap of the
SATPUDA Mountain with the pious aim and goal to remove the darkness of
the community and to train them in a standard manner by which they can
be a qualified tutor for the villagers from where they are coming. The
Trust has attained its goals only within the lifespan of 30 years. During
this short run the trust have started many professional courses for which
the community may not imagine in long term too. There are many challenges
come to drive but the struggle and continue motivation leads the trust
to serve the community as a whole. The Jamia Akkalkuwa is a voluntary,
non-profit, self-governing organization having as its primary purpose
the accreditation of education. Activities are carried out by the trust
establishing the educational network; the trust provides assurance to
the community for their well done, if it is treated likewise.
